Kenny Brown has been racing cars pretty much his whole life, which is why he found himself managing Steve Saleen’s fleet of racing Mustangs. After helping run two championship seasons, Brown thought to settle down…only to have Mustang owners track him down and demand his services. From there he formed Kenny Brown Performance, which has been tuning Mustangs for the track for over 20 years now.
Sitting down with a video crew, Kenny Brown discusses what he thinks helps set his cars apart from the competition, on the track and off.
From the get-go, Kenny Brown makes it clear that he designs the car from the driver’s seat out. Nothing is more important to him than the way car and driver interact. “If it doesn’t feel good, if it doesn’t put a smile on your face, I haven’t done my job,” says Brown. That sounds like an excellent philosophy to us.
The video is the first in a series we will be bringing you about the upcoming Kenny Brown GT4-CS and GT-4 Turbo Mustangs. We are excited to get a chance to hear from the man whose name is plastered on so many performance Mustangs…almost as excited as we are for a chance to test drive one of these bad boys. What do you say Kenny?
