You are sitting at lunch with a supermodel discussing just how you would order a new 2019 Mustang GT Premium. No you aren’t dreaming. You are the lucky winner of a sweepstakes designed to help girls learn coding. So, you could have a dream experience and help a great cause.
Founded by your potential lunch date, model Karlie Kloss, after she took coding class, Kode With Klossy hosts free, two-week coding super camps for teen girls ranging from 13-18 years of age. Ford embraced this focus on tech learning and helped the program grow from three to 15 camps last year. This year the effort grew to 50 camps.
“Before my first class, the idea that I could build something with code seemed practically impossible,” Karlie said. “But after just a couple of classes, I was working with my classmates to program a small drone, and I realized coding is about creativity – just like art and fashion – and that women with these skills have the power to shape our future.”
To help support that future, you can donate anywhere from $10 for 100 entries to $5,000 for 50,000 entries. If you win, you will score that lunch date, the Mustang and a trip to the Motor City. If that sounds like a plan to you, enter right here.
