What Would You Pay For A Low-Mileage 1995 SVT Mustang Cobra R?

In 1995 Ford’s Special Vehicle Team brought back the iconic 5.8-liter, 351 cubic-inch V8 engine in the SVT Mustang Cobra R. These engines were specifically designed for the R-model Cobras and put out some serious numbers. This particular Cobra R is even cooler because it’s only got 3,000 miles on on the clock. It’s practically brand new.

This is an all-around-clean car, and with that few miles on it, we’re not surprised.

One of only 250 produced in 1995, this Cobra R produces 300 horsepower and 265 lb-ft of torque. It’s got the Tremec HD 3550 five-speed manual transmission; an 8.8-inch, 3.27:1 geared limited-slip rearend; and a heavy-duty adjustable suspension. An aluminum radiator keeps it cool, a 20-gallon ensures plenty of go juice, and the high-flow fuel pump makes sure the V8 gets all the gas that it needs. This Cobra was built to race.

The Craigslist listing also details that it has new BFGoodrich tires, resurfaced rotors, new brake pads, and a replacement fuel cell. The seller wanted to replace some of the parts on the car that had succumbed to deterioration from age. Even at only 3,000 miles, some things just break down over time.

It's almost like buying a brand new car. If you weren't old enough to buy one of these new, this may be the best chance you'll have to get that experience!

The car looks basically brand new, as it should with only 3,000 miles on it, and it’s clear that it’s always been kept in a garage. Even if you weren’t after it for the performance power, the low mileage should be enough to catch your interest if you’re in the market for a Mustang. There aren’t too many with such low mileage, especially one that would be so much fun to drive.
