It’d be pretty cool to win a car, any car, through an online contest, right? It’d be even cooler if said car was a Ford Mustang GT loaded up with all the performance bells-and-whistles, taking it from a ho-hum 430 horsepower up past the 850 horsepower mark. With so much horsepower, you may naturally not want to drive it on the street all the time, however, so you’ll be needing a tow vehicle for your Mustang. Something like, say, the as-yet-released 2017 Ford Raptor.
AmericanMuscle.com has launched a contest where one lucky winner will take home both an 850 horsepower Ford Mustang and a 2017 Ford Raptor. You can’t even buy a Raptor yet, but AmericanMuscle is giving one away to celebrate its tenth anniversary. W
The Mustang, boasting the 5.0 liter V8 that comes with the GT model, has been worked and twerked to produce an estimated 725 horsepower at the wheels. Wearing a custom Tangerine paint job, a full MMD styling kit and RTR Tech 7 street wheels along with a drag wheel/tire setup, AmericanMuscle says this pony car will come with over $30,000 in modifications alone.
Then there’s the 2017 Ford Raptor, which we assume will arrive factory stock, though that’s not exactly a bad thing. The 3.5 liter twin-turbo V6 has been tuned to an estimated 450 horsepower by Ford, and an all-new 10-speed automatic transmission gives you more gears for even more performance. As though that’s not bonkers enough, a custom racing trailer is included in the package.
