Sure, we have our troubles and woes just like every other nation, but overall this is still the country with the best ideals and the best values as far as we’re concerned. It also helps that we have the best cars and trucks, both of which are put on display in this next very-American video.
Featuring a massive American flag, four F-150 pickups, and a pair of 662 horsepower Shelby GT500s, this fantastic flag-pulling ceremony from last year’s Ford 400 race at Homestead-Miami raceway is as American as it gets.
This video is actually from back in November, just prior to the unveiling of both the 2015 Mustang and the 2015 Ford F-150. So what we’ve got here is one last hurrah for two outgoing models about to be replaced and seriously upgraded …not that it diminishes these vehicles in the least. As you can see in this video, they handled that huge American flag just fine.
And beneath that huge flag was a pair of Shelby GT500s ready to light their tires on fire for a serious burnout. Big American pickups, an oversized American flag, and the two of the most powerful American production cars ever built? It’s a whole lotta America crammed into a single video for sure, and perhaps Ford will replicate it this November with the all-new 2015 Mustang and F-150.
