Screen Shot 2016-01-05 at 9.36.41 AMGROver the last year-or-so since the Focus RS was given the green light by Ford’s CEO, there have been many rumors debating the drivetrain, power output, and the price. Thankfully, we know almost all of that. And if you’ve kept up-to-date on the Focus RS documentary series known as ‘Rebirth Of An Icon’ that we’ve covered, you’ll know that Ford took its time with the all-new Focus RS. From concept to ‘production’ took a little over two years, and it’s easy to see why. We’ve mentioned that the Focus RS may not be as legendary as the Mustang, but it remains a performance icon in much of the world. We’re all aware that up until the latest generation, the Focus RS wasn’t available in the U.S., leaving two generations untouched.

Regardless if enthusiasts think the all-new Focus RS has the same credibility of the Mustang or not, this hot hatch straight from Europe is sure to be a competitive player in the world of turbo four-bangers. Flexing all its got, the Focus RS makes 350 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque, equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission and an all-wheel-drive system. Not bad for a car that almost tops out at 170 MPH.
