Are you a videomaker just waiting to show off your talents and skills to the rest of the automotive jungle on social media? Centerforce is giving you the opportunity to prove to the world that you have what it takes to entertain the masses with their “Get Your Shift Together!” Social Media Contest.

Going on May 1, 2015, through June 15, 2015, submit your videos to the Centerforce Facebook page, showing you learning to drive a stick-shift vehicle – or you teaching someone else to drive one. This is your opportunity to teach your significant other, you kid brother or sister, or even that friend who is afraid of the third pedal.

Centerforce says, “Driving a real car or truck — one with three pedals — is an art form. Parents used to pass this gift to their kids. Fewer modern cars have manual transmissions, so many drivers don’t automatically have the skills required to operate a real vehicle.” For many of us, growing up in the 1970s or 1980s meant learning on a stick shift, but with so many automatics these days, more kids are learning to drive with just two pedals.

So what do you get for your creative submission? Every entertaining submission will be rewarded with a t-shirt from Centerforce with “Get A Grip” printed across the front. But on June 15th, 2015, entries will close and Centerforce Facebook fans will vote for their favorite video. The voting will start on July 1, 2015, and end on July 31, 2015. The person with the most votes at the end of the voting period will receive a $500 gift certificate good towards Centerforce products. As with any contest, there are official rules for those who like to push the envelope.

So get your video camera up and running, and find someone who can help you make an entertaining video while you teach them how to drive with the third pedal!
