The 2015 Mustang hasn’t even hit dealer showrooms yet and already the aftermarket is chomping at the bit to crank out parts for Ford’s latest pony car. With his own brand of hot RTR Mustang parts, Vaughn Gittin Jr is no exception. The Mustang drifting superstar is ready to rock the 2015 like no one else can.
Gittin says in a press release, “The RTR team and I are pumped to work with such an incredible platform for RTR builds. Without a question, the performance and overall presence of the new Mustang RTR will impress and keep a smile on our customers’ faces whether cruising the streets or getting crazy on the track. I cannot take delivery of mine soon enough!”
The RTR packages will continue to offer those subtle touches that are just right for setting a Mustang apart from the rest of the pack, without appearing gaudy, or the car losing its Mustang heritage. Updates include many unique RTR parts, there’s a mesh grille with some cool looking LED halo lights, chin spoiler, rocker splitter, rear diffuser with side splitters, and of course the RTR spoiler. There’s also the unique RTR lightweight wheels and stripe package. Other enhancements announced at this time include an upgraded RTR suspension with adjustable dampers and sway bars.
In the press release RTR also says they’re looking to expand their dealer network over the next year. Serialized RTR Mustangs will again be offered through participating Ford dealers. Look for the cars to start hitting dealer showrooms in January 2015. RTR will offer parts for those who already have a 2015 in the garage and want to build it one step at a time through the RTR web-site and American Muscle as well.
