Vaughn Gittin Jr. Drifts A Cloverleaf In A 900HP Mustang RTR

They say everything is bigger in Texas, so when the man whose moniker is the “Professional Fun Haver” wanted to go big for St. Patrick’s Day, it’s no surprise he headed for the Lone Star State. There local authorities closed off all four ramps of a highway’s cloverleaf for an insane drift in his 900-horsepower Mustang RTR.

Let’s face it, this is something we have all dreamed of doing when accelerating up or down a looping highway ramp. Like most automotive dreams, however, Vaughn is in the business of making them a reality.

“Entering a cloverleaf at maximum attack is something I’ve always wanted to do! There was nothing like the sound of the 5.0 revving out under the overpass portion as it echoed every which way!” Vaughn enthused. “It was just the right amount of sketchiness and fun together… and quite a bit more challenging than I had expected linking it all together. And doing it at night made it that much more intense.”

Of course, this brings true meaning to “professional driver on a closed course,” so don’t get any crazy ideas about doing this in the new Mustang RTR Series 1 Powered by Ford Performance, which hits dealerships next month.

“I am still shocked that that just happened,” Vaughn Gittin Jr. added after completing the feat.
