Throngs of enthusiasts are making their annual pilgrimage to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina this week. The beach town is set to transform into the epicenter for fans of the Ford Mustang as Mustang Week takes over. The crew at TMI Products have long displayed at the event and are looking forward to showing off some custom seats, including a new model at this year’s show.

“Well, nothing stock, I can tell you that much,” TMI Products Sales Manager Waylon Krumrie says of what you will find in the company’s display. “We’ll have a few well-known Mustangs parked in the booth making their show debuts, as well as a number of Race Seats for attendees to try out.”
Last year the event moved to a new locale and offered an indoor display that offered a trade-show-style environment for manufacturers. This allows companies to really show off their wares by using full vehicles and displays.
“This will be our eighth year displaying at Mustang Week in Myrtle Beach. It is one of my personal favorite shows we display and look forward to it every year. Nowhere else can we expect to get the face-to-face time with true Mustang enthusiasts as we do at Mustang Week,” Waylon enthused. “And with the expansion and growth this show saw last year when it moved to the convention center, we are even more excited to see how the show will continue to evolve. From a few hundred cars in a parking lot to a full-blown, Mustang-only convention, we’re glad to be a part of it.”
TMI’s display will showcase several of the company’s existing seats, including the Pro Chicane, Pro Viper, and Pro Viper Jr. However, the company is also using the event to highlight a brand-new offering — the Pro Viper Jr. XL, which offers more width for larger drivers.
“Our emphases at this year’s show are on our new line of Race Seats — especially our OE-color-matched race seats. No longer do you have to sacrifice having a matching interior when you upgrade to a race-style seat,” Waylon explained. “We are the only manufacturer that offers aftermarket race seats covered in factory original materials. We will also be debuting a brand-new race seat as well as several new Design Series for our existing race seats.”
You can see these seats on display in a variety of Mustang ranging from SN-95s to S197s, and you’ll be able to sit in the seats and see how they feel starting on Friday at the Mustang Week car show.
