Back in June, at the Friends of Steve McQueen car show, Steeda, McQueen Racing, and Galpin Auto Sports revealed plans to offer a special edition of the 2019 Mustang Bullitt named for the Hollywood legend and star of Bullitt. The Steve McQueen Edition 2019 Mustang Bullitt adds some performance and styling firepower to the already potent package, and now it can be ordered from a dealer.

For $20,995 you can add the base Steve McQueen Edition upgrade to a new Mustang Bullitt. It includes a long list of enhancements (see sidebar) from performance tweaks, completely revamped handling, and numerous appearance touches, which include unique wheels and various logos.
“As Chad McQueen directed us, we took an already excellent car and enhanced its power and improved its handling capabilities for both the road and track, and gave the design an even more classic restrained but undeniably cool stance,” Bob said. “There is no doubt Steve would be very proud.”
Ordering packages are on their way to dealers, so you can load your Bullitt with numerous custom touches, including a 755-horsepower supercharger package.
Beyond the base upgrade package there are several options available as well, headlined by a performance upgrade that pushes the Gen 3 Coyote engine’s output beyond 750 horsepower. The basis of that upgrade is the Whipple Superchargers Gen 5 3.0-liter twin-screw blower.
