SEMA 2012: Webasto Sunroofs Invades Ford Concept Vehicles

Part of what makes SEMA such a great event are the concept vehicles, which pepper the floors both in and outdoors. For Ford fans, Ford grabbed up Neil Tjin of Tjin Motorsports and Scott Hoag from MRT Performance to design and build two different Ford Fusions, which would be showcased in the Ford booth.

Tjin’s rendition features an awesome amount of finely detailed exterior and interior aftermarket components. What makes the Tjin Edition Roadshow Fusion stand out that much more was the use of Webasto. Tjin utilized the Hollandia 500 specialty sunroof, which features a multi-panel panoramic series sunroof. It also includes soft touch controls with single tap to open and close functions.

From the custom beige color to the unique wheels, this car pushes the envelope at SEMA! Of course, for more, make sure you check out the full video feature on the Tjin Edition Roadshow Ford Fusion.

Webasto’s additional partnership landed over at MRT Performance’s; an aftermarket company specializing in north American brands including the Camaro, Mustang and even this Ford fusion. Again, making sure to call on quality, MRT relied on Webasto for the full effect. MRT also utilized the Hollandia 500 sunroof system, which also takes advantage of the two sunroof design.

This Ford Fusion is really unique with it’s all new styling, chassis and powertrain. And MRT has taken it to the next level with the Webasto dual sunroof, interior trim upgrades, and AirLift suspension package here at SEMA 2012. Of course, we’ve got all the details on the MRT Fusion below in the video.
