Along with meeting the needs of high horsepower applications, the REV driveshafts are safer than steel or aluminum options because of their added strength. Even though they are lightweight, the REV driveshafts meet the stringent SFI 43.1 specifications. According to QA1, 3M Matrix Resin is used in the manufacturing process and each part is balanced in-house to avoid the use of glued weights. All of these contribute to weight savings of approximately half of a factory two-piece unit. As an added benefit of the one-piece unit, it provides additional clearance for exhaust systems. All of these benefits and the weight savings, will help the transfer of power to the rear tires more effectively than the stock components.
