Power Wheels F-150 Endures Ultimate Test of Strength

With fingers crossed and a little bit of confidence, just about anything is possible. Fisher-Price, in an effort to prove their scaled down version of the Ford F-150 was “Built Ford Tough” recently tested the limits of their Power Wheels version F-150 in the ultimate test of endurance and strength. The Ford F-150, the number one selling pick-up truck for more than 30 years, has had a long standing reputation of being the Clydesdale among its peers and competition as the leader in the industry.

In a recent partnering, Fisher-Price and Motor City Solutions, which handles the Ford fleet testing, wanted to prove the Power Wheels F-150 could venture beyond what wear and tear it might receive on a daily basis from the normal child. So what better way to display the strength of the mini-me Power Wheels F-150 than to show it could support the full weight of the full size version F-150?

Four special platforms were created to protect the Power Wheels F-150s as they had the 4,120-pound full-size F-150 lowered down onto the top of the four mini-trucks. In an amazing display, the mini F-150s proved beyond a doubt that they could stand up to their big brother counterpart with ease.

Not one of them broke or cracked in the slightest – each Power Wheel supported more than 1,000-pounds in an epic showing of endurance during the test. Proving Fisher-Price’s assumption right that their version of the F-150 was indeed “Built Ford Tough.”

a3What better time than to kick this test off during the holiday season with the official release of the all-new military grade aluminum 2015 F-150 now available to the consumer? With Christmas lists being made, we imagine Santa just might need a bigger sleigh – or better yet, maybe choose something that is “Built Ford Tough” with the big day quickly approaching. We of course want to be sure Santa is properly prepared.

About the author

Bridgett Davis

Growing up in Greenwood, Indiana a short distance from the world famous Indianapolis Motor Speedway, my dad would take me to local car shows and events. Through this I gained my passion. Along with cars, I have always loved photography, writing, and graphic arts. However when attending college I did not pursue my passions. I played it safe and majored in business and marketing. After a few years in this field I determined this was not for me and began to pursue a writing and photography career. Landing me here with Power Automedia. I am also now the business owner of Bridgett's Toxic Creations. Specializing in automobile showboards, custom license plates, logos, and website headers. Living and breathing the Mustang life everyday in everyway. To be able to work in my field of passion is amazing and fun experience everyday. The best part is sharing a common passion with others.
