Legendary Mustang builder/racer Kenny Brown and renowned performance brake manufacturer Baer Brakes have teamed up to introduce the Kenny Brown/Baer Pro4-R Race-spec brake kit. A professional race-grade front brake kit with all the features and quality of professional brakes at affordable club racing pricing for late model Mustangs from 1996 - 2014.

With the growth of higher horsepower, track days and club racing, Mustang performance enthusiasts and racers have been looking for a quality alternative to the pricey pro race brake kits for their Mustangs. Kenny Brown and Baer fulfill this need with the new exclusive Pro4-R Race-spec front brake kit.

In the name “Pro4-R” brakes, the “Pro” stands for Professional Grade components, the “4” stands for 4-piston calipers and the “R” stands for Race capable brakes. The new Kenny Brown/Baer Pro4-R Race-spec brake kits are great for Performance Street, Autocross, Track Days, Club and Pro Racing.

The Kenny Brown/Baer Pro4-R brake package is an updated and much improved variant of the race brakes Kenny’s late son, Paul Brown, used on his GTS Championship Winning Boss Mustang in the 2011 Pirelli World Challenge Series. The superior braking power was significant factor in Paul’s five GTS wins, tying Parnelli Jones’ single season win record in a Boss Mustang.

  • Lightweight calipers with machined pockets to reduce weight
  • Precision machined 2-piece calipers bolted together with 6 big 7/16” Holo-Krome bolts for superior clamping force, rigidity and strength
  • Caliper pistons 1.75 and 1.375, are compatible with OE master cylinders so no master cylinder upgrade is required
  • Machined aluminum radial caliper mounts
  • ARP radial mount studs with 12pt nuts for strength and durability
  • Machined banjo inlet design eliminates pipe threading in the caliper
  • Takes super thick 25mm (.980”nearly 1″ thick) 6-piston Hawk pads
