Fox Mustang values have been on the rise over the past few years. With the higher end sales coming mostly thanks to Dennis Collins and Barrett-Jackson, real world values have been a good bit less (take a look at our recent article on real-world Fox values here). However, every now and again, that one special Fox comes along and rings the bell in front of the normal public for impressive money.
Recently, a super-clean, red 1993 Mustang LX coupe put up a big real world number for all to see on eBay. It garnered an impressive $46,000. That is one of the highest Fox prices in recent memory especially for a car up for sale outside the bright auction house lights.
This five-speed coupe showed an amazingly low 1,800 miles on the odometer and the condition of the car appears to back it up. Countless amounts of documentation add to the score. The listing stated that the car appears just like it did at the Ford dealership back in 1993 and we believe it.
Only time will tell what the sell of this car does for more pedestrian Fox values. Low-mileage, all-original cars like these are few and far between, so it is impossible to compare these unicorn cars to the regular Fox Mustangs we see for sale on Craigslist day in and day out. Chances are, however, at least a few people raised their asking prices a couple of thousand dollars after seeing these results. You can check out the original auction here to judge for yourself if this coupe was worth nearly $50,000.
