Two of the biggest names in the automotive industry, Hurst and Kenne Bell, have teamed up on a new custom S550 Mustang variant. Both Hurst and Kenne Bell are well-know names in the Mustang scene, and are no stranger to one off cars like their latest creation. Hurst has had their hand at one-off, self branded cars since the ’60s with cars like the AMC Rambler and Oldsmobile 442, both bearing the Hurst shifter and logo.

The most recent adaptation being the Hurst Hellcat GSS Challenger. Not to be overshadowed, as Kenne Bell having also been around since the ’60s has quite the tenure as well. With one of the more well known uses of the Kenne Bell name in the GT500KR packaged Mammoth supercharger.

The two have both experienced numerous collaborations over the years with various OEM and aftermarket entities. So, it’s really no surprise to see their paths leading them to work with one another.  We take a quick look at the soon to be officially released Hurst/Kenne Bell 2017 Mustang. The build was handled by Performance West Group, who specializes in limited run vehicles for Hurst.

The package includes a turn key 750HP beast to unleash on the streets. They also feature a Flowmaster exhaust, and of course, a Hurst shifter.

There is still very little known about the car. As it would turn out, the car wasn’t supposed to break the public eye until this November.

However, a scheduling commitment to attend the ‘Television Motion Picture Car Show’ on July 4th sort of sped things up a bit. Despite being ahead of schedule, the early release pictures of the car didn’t stop the first orders from coming in. With only 50 slated for production this year, if you plan on getting into one of these Mustang GTs, you’d better move fast, as these rides are selling even faster.
