By now most have at least heard of the fabricator/builder Aaron Kaufman from the hit TV show Fast N’ Loud on the Discovery Channel. Aaron Kaufman and Richard Rawlings turned their little two bay hot rod shop Gas Monkey Garage into an empire known around the world. After 14 years of flipping cars, Aaron decided to cut ties with Gas Monkey Garage so he could pursue new opportunities.
He wanted to move away from the popular show to chase after his own ideas. After leaving Gas Monkey, Aaron fell off the radar for a minute, and it seemed that he might be gone for good. But on June 25th, 2017, he came back onto the scene with the announcement of his new company ArcLight Fabrications.
Aaron is trying to fill the gap in the Ford F100 world by providing parts for 1957-1979 Ford f100’s through his new brand ArcLight Fab. Although he launched the new site, no parts are available as of yet. The site only boasts T-shirts, hats, and stickers so far.
We have been following Aaron and ArcLight Fab on social media, and up until recently, we have seen a more-or-less random photos of F100s, as well as promotion of his merchandise.
Then Aaron suddenly appeared on the premiere issue of the 2017 F100 Builders Guide, his truck gracing the front cover. He also provided an exclusive interview inside the magazine.
On September 18th, ArcLight Fab’s Instagram page hinted that he might be getting back in front of a camera but this time working for his own company.
There’s no official news on this yet but we may see his familiar face back on the big screen in the near future, either with a new program of his own or featured on an existing television show. Either way, it’s good to see Aaron back in the game and it’s great to see more support for the classic Ford F100 pickup.
