Midwestern gearheads with the need for speed might want to check out Nebraska’s Big Blue Mile Shootout June 3, 2017. This matching-times race is open to all makes and models but is limited to the first 60 car entries and first 20 motorcycle entries. Participants will begin from a standing start half or full-mile divisions with multiple passes allotted for each entrant, weather permitting.
The Big Blue Mile Shootout works in conjunction with Motorsports Park Hastings MPH to help those who would like to attend racing events or simply want to drive their cars the way they were built to be driven — all the way up to 165 mph.
All profits from this event are divided evenly between the towns of Cordova, Beaver Crossing, and Utica Volunteer Fire Departments, who will serve and protect the functionality of this race. It is intended to promote County small town growth and opportunities for local organizations by providing products and services to the participants and spectators allowing them to have a great event experience.
