Did Someone Leak Video Of The 2018 Mustang?

The whole world expected to see the 2018 Mustang unveiled during Ford’s press conference at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, Michigan, last week. It didn’t happen, but today a mysterious video hit the Internet that purports to show the 2018 Mustang with the Performance Pack option and a bright, new paint color.

While the video certainly looks legitimate, YouTube comments are already suggesting it could be a fake. Titled “Official 2018 Ford Mustang GT with Performance Pack – Running Footage,” the video originated from One News Page, which calls itself “Probably the fastest-access news portal in the world.”

Today a seemingly legitimate video of the 2018 Mustang GT Performance Pack hit the web in a driving video bearing the Ford logo.

Mustang fans have long expected that the 2018 would follow the typical Mustang generational cadence and receive a modest fascia refresh and that’s just what the car driving through the desert in this video is sporting. The front end is more aggressive and the taillights are a bit different, but it is still clearly part of the S550 family.

Do you think this car is the 2018 Mustang? If so, what do you think of this mid-cycle refresh?

Highlights of the changes to the car in the video include a revised front end, new headlights and a new taillight design among other tweaks.
