Recently Lebanon Ford showed off the first 2018 Mustang GT Performance Package Level  2 fortified with the LFP-installed, 800-horsepower Whipple Gen 5 supercharger package.

 

“The way that the Performance Pack Level 2 on the 2018 Mustang GT complements the Whipple supercharger is perfect,” Chandler Wheat, performance sales specialist at Lebanon Ford, explained. “Lebanon Ford was, to our knowledge, the first Ford Dealership in the country to install a ROUSH supercharger to a Performance Pack level 2 car. Now we seem to be the first dealership to supercharge a Performance Package Level 2 with a Whipple supercharger!”

This particular build is being delivered to a lucky customer in Southern California who ordered his vehicle with the many of the popular upgrades including the 401A Premium Plus package, Race Red Recaro seats, and even had the performance team at Lebanon upgrade both the oil pump gears and halfshafts ensuring this vehicle can withstand its newfound power.

“You have all the necessary suspension, brakes, and grip to really enjoy the horsepower that the Whipple system puts out,” Chandler remarked. “The beauty of the Whipple system is that it builds power progressively meaning regular around town driveability isn’t adversely impacted. As you put your foot into it, you will definitely hear and feel all that the Whipple system has to offer.”
