Our goal is to build cars that can accomplish the goals of everyone,” Charlie Watson, Marketing Manager at Beechmont Ford, told us. “From the weekend cruiser to the track enthusiasts, if you’re interested in something unique, we’ve got you covered! In fact, the customer car you see here is getting a few other upgrades along with the Whipple Gen 5 before it gets shipped off to Kansas City. The customer moved from a blown Mustang to a C7 Z51 Corvette, but decided he missed that boosted ’Stang life. As such, he spec’d out this 2018 Mustang with the blower along with 800-horsepower halfshafts from the DriveShaft Shop and a Competition Series cat-back exhaust from Magnaflow.

Regular readers know that Whipple Superchargers designed its Gen 5 3.0-liter supercharger with the 2018 Mustang in mind. Its top-mounted intercooler allows for maximum cooling without being constrained by the direct-injection plumbing in the engine’s valley. (Photo Credit: Whipple Superchargers)

“We sold over $500,000 in Whipple superchargers last year. They are a fantastic platform for high horsepower, reliability, and the warranty option is tough to beat! They are a great complement to our slightly smaller-displacement 2650 ROUSH TVS supercharger that makes 700 horsepower,” Charlie added. “We want to have an option for everyone! We are partnered with ROUSH, Whipple, Vortech, Paxton, ProCharger, Magnuson, Hellion, On3, and hundreds of other performance brands. There is virtually nothing performance-related that we don’t have access to. There are no limits!”

Of course, if you just want that base Mustang with a blower, that price includes a $1,500 rebate, so it probably won’t last forever. You can head over to the dealer’s official performance page here, or call Terry “Beefcake” Reeves at (513) 478-1965, and spec out the boosted Mustang of your budget dreams.
