2020 Shelby GT500 Takes Its Bra Off In Public For The First Time

With Ford already teasing us with glimpses of the 2020 Shelby GT500’s front end, engineers can get a bit more brazen when rolling around in test cars. Today the first Predator prowled the streets in camouflage, but without the bulky brassiere that once obscured its aggressive new fascia.

While the distracting wrap still masks some of the finer points, the spy shots spreading virally across the interwebs give us a better look at the car’s aggressive cooling ducts, vented hood, and even its headlights. The wheels and brakes are fully on display, as are the massive quad tips that punctuate the exhaust system.

Spy photos of the 2020 Shelby GT500 driving on the street without a bulky bra obscuring its styling recently hit the internet. They offer the best look yet at the 700-plus-horsepower halo Mustang, including its aggressive styling, big brakes, huge exhaust tips, and more. (Photo Credit: KGP Photography)

All wrapped up this Ford Performance beast looks pretty sedate. However, we have a feeling that when we learn more about the most powerful street-legal Mustang ever built, its looks will be aggressive enough to match the supercharged 5.2-liter engine underhood. And, we suspect that many of the styling changes hiding under this disguise are designed to enhance its performance, particularly at high speed.
