Our friends at Modern Driveline are new to the exhibiting world at SEMA. Though the team has been attending the show for years, this was the first year they brought out their slew of products and set up shop to show them off. And it paid off — they took home a SEMA Best Engineered New Product award for the new SN95 Hydraulic Conversion Kit for 1994-2004 Mustangs!

The hydraulic clutch conversion kit was recently released, and it eliminates the clutch cable while reducing pedal effort. It is a direct replacement for the stock cable system, utilizing the stock pedal, and includes linkage to convert pull to push. It also has an integral reservoir. The system was CAD-designed, is constructed of CNC-machined billet, and works with SOHC, DOHC, and modular applications.

Bolt-in installation is quick and straightforward and requires no drilling. The system is available in three bore sizes to fit your application’s slave cylinder volume. It includes a Wilwood master cylinder, which mounts onto the firewall where the factory cable was previously located. An external slave cylinder bolts to the bellhousing near the clutch fork. It operates by pushing the fork, as opposed to the stock cable’s pull-design.

On the front side of the firewall, the master cylinder is connected to the clutch pedal via a linear-linkage-design arm. A stainless-steel braided line connects the master cylinder to the external slave cylinder.

There are similar kits that work for the Fox-body Mustang and 1967-1968 Mustangs as well!
