With that said, let’s talk about the video above, brought to us by YouTube user slowboat productions. The amount of fail in this video is literally over 9,000.
Now if you know us, you know we don’t endorse street racing whatsoever. The damage that can be caused from street racing is incalculable. Too many variables, and too much of a risk. But you guys already know this: you guys know that when you’re racing on the streets, you’re not only putting yourself in danger, you’re putting others in danger as well.
Let’s just forget about the fact that these fools are not racing on a proper race track, where, you know, if something like this was to happen, there would be a safety crew ready to put the fire out within seconds of it happening.
Instead, these guys decided to street race in “Mexico” and not even come prepared. Which lead to them getting served a nice helping of third degree burns while attempting to put the fire out, unsuccessfully of course. Maybe there are no fire extinguishers in Mexico?
To be clear, nitrous is not evil. In fact, it’s great when done right, especially when you’ve taken the proper safety precautions. Lots of drag racers use nitrous, since it can be the most cost efficient power adder option available.
If you’ve taken anything from this video today, hopefully it’s that you always take safety precautions and carry a fire extinguisher, especially if you’re car has nitrous! Oh, and next time, keep it on the track.
