The fine folks at the Goodguys Rod & Custom Association have a long history of giving away some beautiful machines. One of the event promoter’s latest giveaway machines blends the worlds of classic Ford muscle and modern Ford performance in the form of a 1963 ½ Ford Galaxie powered by a Coyote engine.

“There is a new Goodguys Giveaway Car on the scene. It’s a low, lean and mean Muscle Machine and it is coming to a Goodguys national event near you!” John Drummond wrote on the company blog. “Designed by Eric Brockmeyer and hand-crafted by Legens Hot Rod Shop in Martin, Tennessee—the Goodguys 1963 ½ Ford Galaxie Giveaway Car has mega power, tight gaps, and a sinister stance.”

It took two donor Galaxies supplied by George Poteet to create is giveaway machine, based on a Roadster Shop chassis. The aforementioned Ford Performance Coyote crate engine howls away inside its smooth engine compartment, and that 5.0-liter engine is backed by a Tremec transmission. This Galaxie is also packed with other goodies from Flaming River, Flowmaster, Optima Batteries, Rick’s Stainless Tanks, Strange Engineering, Total Cost Involved and more.

Though it debuted last July on the Goodguys tour, the Coyote Galaxie began its tour of Goodguys events last season, but you still have time to sign up and win this amazing ride. It will tour the first half of the Goodguys event season in 2017 before being given away at the 20th PPG Nationals in Columbus, Ohio July 7-9, 2017.

To see the full rules of the contest, you can click here. Of course, if you want to just sign up to win, you can do so here, but don’t bother entering more than once, as duplicate entries will be deleted.

It rolls on Greening Auto Company wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich tires. Inside it features a leather interior, Dakota Digital instruments, Vintage Air, a Hurst shifter and a Kicker audio system. (Photo Credit: Goodguys)
