Every day brings us a bit closer to the 2010 SEMA Show, where all the biggest and brightest aftermarket manufacturers come to show off their new wares. 2010 is sure to be heavy on the aftermarket Mustang parts this year Ford re-introduced an all-new 5.0 liter V8 engine. Plenty of companies will be packing aftermarket gear for the new Mustang, and some are even bringing whole cars.
WD-40 and SEMA Cares brought the yellow-and-blue Camaro to the show last year, and this year they will be showcasing a 2011 Mustang, according to Muscular Mustangs.
WD-40 is a godsend to anybody who has ever had to work on a car. It lubes, degreases, and helps break hard-to-crack bolts. It is one of the favored tools in any garage. The 2011 Mustang GT is one hot ticket right now, and WD-40 will be painting their car in the traditional colors of yellow and blue (though more yellow than blue, as shown in these renderings).
Of course, no muscle car like this could just get a fancy paint job. Instead, WD-40 will be adding a Paxton supercharger, Forgeline wheels, a custom interior, big brakes, fancy sound system, and many more “extras” to make this Mustang stand out from the crowd. Expect 600 horsepower from this pony once all is said and done. Just like last year’s Camaro, this Mustang will be auctioned off, the proceeds going to ChildHelp and Victory Junction Gang Camp, two children’s charity organizations. The Camaro raised over $75,000 for the charities, so we wonder how much the Mustang might go for.
