VMP Tuning has a track record of creating some serious parts that will boost the performance of many different flavors of late model Mustangs. From upgrades for the ’03-0’4 Terminator Cobras, to supercharger the Coyote, and even upgrading the GT500. VMP has many different enthusiasts covered.
During the first two months of 2015, VMP reached a record for supercharger sales, selling their 1,000th VMP TVS, since that line of superchargers hit the market way back in 2010. VMP decided to surprise one lucky customer to celebrate this achievement. They randomly selected one lucky customer who purchased a VMP TVS between January 1, 2015, and February 28, 2015 to receive their supercharger for free! Entries were also accepted with no purchase necessary from those who would answer a few simple questions to enter.
All entries were placed in a “special” VMP plastic cup, and a winner was drawn at random by the lovely Rebecca Starkey. The winner is someone who, in our opinion, couldn’t be more deserving of such a prize. Justin Ollila is a Senior Chief in the United States Navy. He’s also the owner of a 2014 GT500.
No longer satisfied with “just” 700 hp, Ollila, opted to crank up the power potential of his GT500 with a full boogey VMP Stage 6 package. This was an upgrade from the Stave 4 system he was currently running. When Ollila isn’t onboard a sub, patrolling the ocean somewhere, he’s behind the wheel of his GT500.
Congratulations to Senior Chief Justin Ollila on winning that supercharger, and to VMP on selling 1,000 superchargers. With innovations like their Gen II TVS, and their constant research and development, we can’t wait to see what else VMP equipped cars will do this year.
