The NMRA season had an exciting start at the Spring Break Shootout opener at Bradenton Motorsports Park. Part of that excitement came from the VMP Superchargers Terminator/GT500 Shootout.
Shane Halleman and his ’03 Cobra struck first at Bradenton, taking the win over Rick Kaknes’ ’03 Cobra to get the event win. Therefore, it appears the Terminators are taking back the class, but the GT500 gang has another chance to exact a little revenge at the Maryland event at Maryland International Raceway, or Budds Creek, as some people call the track.
The SCT Nationals will take place at Maryland International Raceway (MIR) May 1st-3rd, and as part of the event, the VMP Superchargers Terminator/GT500 Shootout will make its second appearance this year. The event will feature numerous SVT vehicles thanks to the 3rd Annual SVT Shootout. Terminators and GT500s will battle it out in a heads-up shootout to vie for SVT supremacy. Many GT500s have taken to other NMRA heads-up classes so who will be the next GT500 competitor to step up and take on the Terminators? It could be you so mark your calendar now.
Terminator/GT500 competitors will receive a free entry into the True Street class for even more chances to win.
