In the midst of a do-it-yourself chassis or suspension project and wonder how the experts might go about the installation of an anti-roll bar? Well if you’re talking Mustangs, Dave Zimmerman and his crew at Team Z Motorsports in Michigan have done it all and seen it all in the Pony Car arena, and when it comes to suspension projects, they certainly qualify as experts.
Team Z recently provided a step-by-step look at the process of installing an anti-roll bar on a Fox body, beginning with a look and its features prior to getting their hands dirty. From there, each step, from the prepping of the rear end housing and the chassis for welding of the brackets to measuring and fitting the roll bar, welding everything in place, squaring the housing, and setting the pinion angle and the anti-roll bar links is all carefully walked through and explained by Zimmerman himself.
