The summer heat has officially set in, and we all know what that means. Car shows, car meets, and racing events will be taking up most of our free time this season. With all of the summer fun to come, many of us are eager to upgrade our Mustangs in preparation. For all of you ’15-’16 S550 Mustang fans, AmericanMuscle has recently released some new exterior upgrades you may want to check out.

We’re of course talking about the latest Chin Spoiler (PN 390092) and the V Series Side Scoops (PN 390089) in the video above from AmericanMuscle’s in-house brand Modern Muscle Design (MMD).

Constructed from lightweight and durable ABS plastic, it’s the material of choice for both components respectively, due to its resilient corrosion properties.

The MMD Chin Spoiler is an an easy-to-install piece and it has a painted matte black finish. It’s also a direct-fit component, though some drilling will be required for installation.

The MMD V Series Side Scoops are a bit more of a unique component, almost in a sense harking back to the GT/CS S197 model style scoops. This pair of scoops is available from AmericanMuscle painted to match all ’15-’16 factory exterior colors, and includes an easy peel-on installation without the need for drilling.

Coupled with the aforementioned chin spoiler, these two components really transform the exterior of any S550 Mustang quite nicely. If you’re looking for a subtle hint of exterior styling, give the folks at AmericanMuscle a shout.
