Ford made headlines when it scooped up former Subaru rally driver Ken Block earlier this year. Famous for his Gymkhana daredevil videos, Ken Block is one wicked rally driver. This is doubly true now that he has a new ride, hopped-up Ford Fiesta with a 500 horsepower supercharged engine and all-wheel drive. While the regular Fiesta is more an economical daily driver, as this video shows, even a rally car can be good for running errands.
The video, part of a promotion called “Rock It Like Block”, shows Ken Block running errands all over town in his tricked out Fiesta…and it gives one lucky winner a chance to win a look-alike Fiesta too.
In Block’s first season as a rally driver for Ford, he has made some impressive in-roads. This includes a victory at the 100 Acre Wood rally, as well as an impressive performance at this past weekend’s X Games. Block’s Fiesta shares some of the credit, and as this video demonstrates, it has no problem handling like a champ on both dirt roads and tarmac.
The Rock It Like Block promotion gives one lucky winner a chance to win a rally-inspired Fiesta. You can enter once per day after registering with the promotion between now and August 13th, and one randomly selected winner will have a Ford Fiesta with an approximate value of $25,000 awarded them. A $25,000 Fiesta means it will have all the bells and whistles, including Sync and leather seats in all likelihood (not exactly rally inspired, but we ain’t complaining). It is free to enter, so don’t waste any time.
