The Ring Brothers are well known for putting together some of the most creative, yet stock appearing, show cars to hit the exhibition floor at the SEMA tradeshow. Their latest creation, dubbed “The Bailout Mustang” is another Ring Brothers themed muscle car creation that was designed to be a working piece of art. By “working,” we mean driven hard at the track.

In just a four month period the Brothers completed the “Bailout Mustang” and had it coated in “Stimulus Blue” paint. Sporting a Keith Craft 351 small block under the hood of the 1966 fast back, the pony car pumped out 602 horsepower on the dyno.

Next stop for the duo was the GoodGuys tour where they could test their work on the autocross tracks across America. No stranger to the GoodGuys Rod and Custom Association, these good guy brothers had won the tour’s Street Machine of the Year for two consecutive years. Now it was time to dominate the autocross event.

Providing the stimulus to chassis control and traction would be key to ‘bailing out’ great times on the track, so it was natural evolution of events that brought the Ring Brother’s Mustang and AFCO shocks together for a test and tuning session at the Nashville GoodGuys event.
