Some of best cars from the 2010 SEMA show will be taking over your television Friday March 11th, 2011 at 8 p.m. ET on SPEED. OPTIMA Batteries released the trailer for the 2010 OPTIMA Ultimate Street Car Invitational. The Invitational takes fifty of the best cars of SEMA and puts them to the test on the street and track.

Despite the cutting-edge fabrication work, flawless paint, and white-collar detailing, these aren’t trailer-queen show cars – they will make an eighty-mile pilgrimage through the desert and get flogged on the track to compete for the crown. All aspects of these cars will be tested, judged and pushed to their limits during this intense competition. Drivers will take on the Speed Stop, Autocross, Design & Style Challenge and finally the 2.2-mile Road Course.

Hosts Bill Goldberg and Jamie Howe tease viewers during the trailer by showing highlights of donuts and insane action from both the autocross and road course events. Having the opportunity to witness a pickup competing against a Mercedes against Trans-Am will require the repeated use of the rewind button on your remote.

This trailer only gives viewers a taste of what is come, but with fifty of the most badass rides pitted against each other for the win it will definitely be worth watching. Tire smoke, insane power, flying through corners and much more will have your mind spinning.
