Buying new tires for your car is not something that anyone likes to do. Let’s face it, we would rather buy a “performance” part rather than tires. But, why don’t you consider your tires a performance part? A bad tire will lose traction, and just like a performance part, a good tire is an upgrade. Choosing the right tires for your vehicle is an important decision. Remember, you’ll be riding around on whatever tires you buy for several years—the front ones at least. We were checking out the Toyo Tires website the other day, and realized that when you buy a set of Toyo’s, the service doesn’t end when the sale closes.
While perusing the website, we found several pages that cater to different aspects of tire questions and help. One thing we didn’t realize, is that it is a good idea to register your tires after the sale. Why you ask? When you register your tires with Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp., it enables them to reach out and let you know if there is a replacement or recall being made on the tires you purchased. Don’t worry, they will not sell your information. It is only to contact you in the event of a tire replacement or recall.
There is also a Tire Service Bulletin page. This page is filled with information about how you can safely use their tires. On this page, you’ll find out how to store your tires in cold climates, the load capacities of certain tires, and proper mounting and rotation instructions. If you have a question, it can probably be answered.
You can also handle any warranty claims, or even get answers to often-asked questions. Not many companies make this kind of information so easily accessible, so it was nice to be able to find it. If you’re looking for a new set of tires, check out Toyo, and get fully informed before you buy from anyone else.
