Mustang6G seems to always be on top of the game when discovering new information regarding the S550 Ford Mustang, especially the limited Shelby GT350 and GT350R models. We found out the production numbers of these two Shelby models and a few other details, but now we are getting to more of the good stuff – price.
According to the forums, the sheet has been leaked with prices for both Shelby GT350 Mustang models (both MSRP and Invoice). According to the photo, the base GT350 Mustang (900A) will have a starting MSRP price of $47,870 which excludes destination and delivery fees. The race-prepped GT350R Mustang (920A) tacks on an additional $13,500 bringing the total MSRP price to $61,370.
Of course, the price jumps as options are added. If opting for a Triple Yellow Tri-Coat exterior, prepare to shell out a little more. Other options include a black painted roof, Shelby car cover, Over-the-top-racing stripes, Track Package, Electronics Package, and Technology Package. Let’s not forget the Shelby GT350 Gas Guzzler tax, and of course dealer markups.
We are hoping this is valid, and M6G has always been a reliable source of all things S550. Some on the forums seem a bit skeptical considering the term “Cobra” was used on one of the sheets. Let’s hope these aren’t fakes, and that these prices may make these bad boys somewhat affordable!
A base Shelby GT350 Mustang in Canada looks to have a starting price of $62,599 CAD.
We can’t wait to hear the official pricing straight from the horse’s mouth at Ford and see if this is legit. Let’s open those order banks already!
