For nearly as long as there’s been a sport of organized drag racing, Strange Engineering has been a supplier of components for and supporter of racers at every level, from the nitro ranks of the NHRA to the very grass roots racers that make the performance aftermarket go ‘round. Company president Jeff Stange, the son of founder Robert Stange, has been outspoken in his mission to continue supporting the racers who support them, and in 2015, Strange Engineering will continue that mission with Promedia Events and both the NMRA All-Ford Nationals Series and the NMCA Muscle Car Nationals Series.
Strange will be back and better than ever next season, they announced recently, by extending their contract with the NMRA and NMCA as both a class sponsor and contingency supporter of racers in all series classes. When the NMRA season kicks of in Florida, Strange Engineering will once again be the title sponsor of the wildly popular new Coyote Stock category, featuring competition amongst Fords of all makes and generations with new 5.0L Coyote spec engines for power. Beyond that, and as a measure to further thank and reward their loyal customers, the company has stepped up to post contingency awards for both its axles and brakes for 2015 and beyond in both series.
The new Strange Engineering brakes and axles decals will be made available at the event registration trailer at all events. The NMRA and NMCA award contingency payouts to the winner and runner-up in all heads-up and index classes at all of the series events. By running Strange axles and/or brakes on your race car, displaying the decal, an simply going rounds, you get paid. That really is a win-win.
As the Strange folks have stated proudly — we’re standing by with the checkbook open and pen in hand. Now get out to the track and turn on the win light!
