Now that the S550 Ford Mustang design has been out for a few months, renderings continue to flood the web of what it might look like after a few aftermarket modifications. Steve Saleen, auto icon in racing, designing, and engineering for over 30 years, has some major plans for the S550 Mustang. Not many renderings look like any actual production vehicle, but with the Saleen rendering of the 2015 Mustang, this could be a game changer. It’s safe to say that Saleen means serious business and is ready to hit the ground running with its S302 Mustang.
From the Saleen press release:
“With this model being the first major Mustang redesign since 2005, we took this as an opportunity to push the limits in both design and performance. We feel this latest Saleen mustang model is perfectly positioned as the next American exotic, campaigning on the stage. As a first look, the final features and specifications of the 2015 S302 Mustang will be released as our unveiling and production draws nearer.”
When looking at the 2015 Mustang factory front end compared to the aggressive “Saleen-ized” front end, Saleen killed it with a menacing blacked-out grille, single hood scoop hood, and layered fascia complete with splitter.
