I enjoy going to car shows and hanging out with friends and talking cars all day. I would wager many of you are the same way. Anyone that has been to a car show knows that car guys and gals are fond of finding die-casts and models that look like their car and using them for their car show display. That’s easy enough to do if you are rocking a normal mustang, but if you have a limited edition or heavily modified Stang that can be impossible.
Roush has been in the aftermarket Mustang business for a long time, and its line of supercharged 427R cars are some of the most popular aftermarket tuner mustangs out there. If you are driving a Roush 427R convertible from 2010 in either Torch Red or Brilliant Silver Roush now has the die-casts for you to use at your car show.
The die-cast vehicles are 1:18 scale and are made by Maisto. The exterior, interior, and engine bay of the vehicle are al carefully reconstructed for accuracy. The doors open, the hood opens, the trunk opens and the suspension works. The steering even works on the models. These are some cool toys to be sure and will put this finishing touch on your show display.
The Brilliant Silver with Black Stripe car is part number 421168 and the Torch Red with white stripes is part number 421167. Either of the cars can be ordered right now directly from Roush for $29.99. I wonder why Roush doesn’t offer the 472R diecast cars in other colors and coupe form, perhaps those are coming later.
