Registration Open for Mustang Alley at Woodward Dream Cruise

Towards the end of each summer the Woodward Dream Cruise takes place in Detroit, Michigan. As one of the largest car events in the country, the Dream Cruise draws more than 40,000 vehicles, and over 1.5 million people. There is a blend of classic and new machines, and the event offers something for every type of car lover.

Finding your way through that ocean of cars and spectators can be a daunting affair though. Obviously with so many cars in attendance and spectators stretching on for what seems like miles, how do you safely corral your Mustang and take a walk to see the sites and sounds?

One way to do so is to join the Mustang Alley. Raising money for charity, the Alley provides not only a safe place to park your pony, but offers some unique experiences to Mustang owners who choose to participate.

Held in several reserved parking lots, the Mustang Alley gives participants the chance to checkout some other cool Mustangs as well as take a factory tour at Ford Motor Company’s Flat Rock Assembly Plant, where the Mustang is built.

Topping the pant tour is the following day, track day. Held at the Ford Proving grounds, where a limited number of participants can get their car on the track for some fast laps. We can’t think of a better place to wring out your Mustang than on the track that helped influence it’s design.

The final day saves the best for last. Topping all the other days as the event closes out with a raffle, top prize, a Mustang!

The events start August 15, and run through the 17th. We suggest that you hurry up and register now, as space is limited and is held on a first come, first served basis.
