One of the big events of the summer is the Car Craft Summer Nationals happening this weekend in St Paul, Minnesota. It’s an event that has gearheads flocking from all over the country, with a huge car show, racing, builder contests, burnout contests, the QA1 autocross – and the list goes on. One of the huge benefits of being local to the Summer Nats is being able to attend without any major trip planning ahead of time. Another benefit is being able to invite hundreds of gearheads to your shop for an open house and car show, and following it up with a 25 mile cruise.

QA1 is one of those businesses that resides close enough to the Minnesota State Fairgrounds that they’ve been hosting an open house and cruise to the Summer Nationals for a couple of years now. QA1 is located in Lakeville, Minnesota – just a quick 25 miles from the fairgrounds – making for a great cruise route to the Summer Nats after the open house and car show. The drive isn’t too long, but gives each driver plenty seat time to cruise with others who share in their passion.

For its third open house, QA1 can accommodate a couple hundred vehicles on their property. While the car show and awards are a regular part of the open house, this year their open house is going to be a little different because visitors will get a first hand look at their recently expanded facility and their new R&D center.

QA1 has been expanding their facility in order to expand their product line, providing street and racing enthusiasts new products to improve suspension and handling for their daily driver, street car, track car, or drag car. To add to the event, the first 25 participants to arrive at QA1 this Friday morning will be entered into a grand prize drawing for a set of four shocks.
