This Street/Strip Fox Looks Great & Sounds Better!

This 1990 Mustang GT is absolute eye candy—and not to mention ear candy as well! While the exterior build of this 5.0-liter is a modest mix between street and race, it’s what’s under the hood that really gets our blood pumping. With this car you could run to the grocery store for a gallon of milk, run to the track to lay down some serious times, and run back home before it got too late for work the next day. It’s built to be fast, but it’s also the kind of car that could be used for a fun daily driver if someone wanted to.

This Fox looks good from any angle.

Powering this stellar ’Stang is a 5.0-liter Ford V8 with Canfield aluminum heads, an Edelbrock Performer intake, and a ProCharger blowing an extra 8 pounds of pressure into the intake. In addition to the impressive powerplant, this build also features a Tremec TKO five-speed manual transmission, 3.55 rearend gears, a Trick Flow rearend cover, ARP fasteners, and an Aeromotive fuel system. It’s a solid, all-around build that sounds just as good as it looks.

We really like this kind of build and it’s no wonder why they have become so popular in the past decade. These Foxes have never really gone out of style. They really just get hotter. We love the look of them, and even mild builds are impressive performers. The smaller platform with the V8 like this makes for the perfect sleeper, daily driver, or racer build. It’s really a versatile little car, and the potential is limited only by the person building it and how far they want to go.

The engine compartment looks just as good as the body.
