We will be using the Ford 6R80 6 speed automatic transmission, the same units you will see in the latest Mustangs. Performance Automatic takes a state of the art approach to putting a “Ford in a Ford” for those who choose the “5.0 Coyote” engine. This controller and harness package is designed to function with a 2011-14 6R80 transmission behind a Ford Coyote engine of 450 max horsepower using the Ford control packs, M-6017-A504V (2011-14) or M-6017-A504Va (replaces pack A504V). Performance Automatic has created a sophisticated Ford 6R80 6 Speed Street Smart System to partner with this new engine.

Performance Automatic has incorporated advanced technology and made it less complicated for the enthusiast by adding our “Quik Connect Program” to this state of the art “6600” Transmission Controller. The “6600” Stand Alone Controller comes preprogrammed and features full paddle shift capabilities. This “6600” Stand Alone Transmission Controller allows the enthusiast to install the most up to date and modern drivetrains into their Street Rods, Muscle Cars and Pro Touring Machines. The Performance Automatic’s 6 Speed Street Smart Packages will come complete with everything you need: 6 Speed Street Smart Transmission, 11.5” Factory Spec Torque Converter, flex plate, block plate, inspection cover, “6600” Stand Alone Transmission Controller and wiring harness, plus all the required hardware.
