Now available for the 2015 Mustang engine lineup are new S550 Mustang coolant surge tanks from Granatelli Motor Sports. They’re offered in two show quality finishes and feature easy, do-it-yourself installation. Check out the full details below.

New for 2015 are the Granatelli Motor Sports S550 Mustang Coolant Surge Tanks (Part # 510100-P for Polished and #510100-B for Black Wrinkle) for all 2.3 EcoBoost, 3.7 V6, Mustang GT and Shelby GT350. This unique design eliminates the unsightly bubble tank delivered from the factory, while continuing the tapered design of the factory engine cover. The Granatelli hand built 6061-t6 reservoir is a simple remove and replace installation using all factory hardware, you don’t even loose a drop of original coolant.
All factory hose connections as well as the radiator cap are a direct cross over making installation no more than 10 minutes. The eye soar now nicknamed the “grenade” by several on the internet won’t win you any trophies in the engine compartment. The Granatelli unique design mimics the same taper and angle of the OE engine cover giving it a true stylized look while increasing capacity. Well-Suited with ALL Aftermarket Air Intake Systems.

Many People are Unaware, as delivered from Ford the factory surge tank can spew coolant on to the road surface making it unsafe for racing conditions.
