Stock stamped steel control arms with soft rubber bushings deflect under load and absorb power instead of transferring it to the tires. BMR’s rod end, double-adjustable tubular control arms for Mustangs (MTCA052—1979-1998, MTCA056—1999-2004) are TIG-welded using lightweight 4130 Chrome-moly tubing. This design gives you a strong, lightweight control arm that greatly improves performance. BMR Suspension designed the MTCA052 and MTCA056 to excel in street performance, drag race, and handling applications. The lightweight, yet strong construction eliminates control arm flex, giving you much improved repeatability on the street, starting line, or in the corners. BMR’s heavy-duty rod ends are designed to solidly link the rearend to the body, eliminate deflection and wasted power.
