What better way to celebrate a 50th Mustang birthday than to do it in seven days. Oh and why not make a movie along the way? Well Mustangs Across America Movie 50 “The Documentary”, is doing exactly that. Rodney Raystall and Ed Griffth are with Sam Haymart of Mustangs Across America and 500 Mustangs filming history by making a movie. The party has started and Raystall and Griffith have rolled into Corona, California. First stop Saleen headquarters. Steve Saleen presented the duo with a brand new 2014 Fully loaded Saleen as their chariot, kindly on loan from Ford, that is taking them on their stampede across America to destination Charlotte, North Carolina.
Over the hills, plains, and mountains these ponies go. Making stops so far in Phoneix, Las Cruces, and Dallas memories and moments of the Mustang Lifestyle are being shared and captured by Raystall and Griffth. From the young to the older everyone is joining the journey of a lifetime. A way of life and following like no other automobile in history, Mustang embraces all with open arms. Some going strictly for the thrill and others on the journey to fulfill a bucket list such as Beth who has stage 4 terminal cancer, purchased her Gotta Have It Green 2014 GT for the journey to fulfill her dreams.
Much like the old west these Cowboys and Cowgirls have gathered for an adventure. Each morning these ponies are rising together, then saddling up and set forth on their travels, and are ending their day enjoying an American sunset. Along the way if a pony breaks down no worries like a true brotherhood help is not far off as you can be sure they will not be left standing alone.
