It’s Mustang Girl Monday brought to you by Team Mustang Girls! This week the love for Mustangs takes us across the world to see Xandi Maung and her 2013 Mustang!  

 

Xandi grew up in Burma where her passion for muscle cars started. “In the movies they were the cars that caught my eyes and since then I have always had a thing for tough, muscular, mean machines!”  Four years ago Xandi moved to Dubai and was amazed at the large number of American muscle cars on the road, although most were driven by men. “In this part of the world, muscle cars are not many ladies first choice and rarely do you see a lady rolling in one!”  Xandi was not like most ladies!

 

Xandi fell in love with Mustangs after watching the movie Death Race in 2008 and again when she saw Nelly’s music video ‘Just a Dream’ featuring the 5.0 Mustang. That’s when Xandi promised herself she would have a Mustang when the time was right. “Whenever I saw a Stang on the road, my eyes followed and my heart started pounding . I was like damn I need this car in my life!”

 

Finally last year, it was the time. She got a Mustang for her birthday present to herself! “The best gift and best money I ever spent” say Xandi about her sterling grey 2013 V6 premium Mustang.  She has modifications to her car to reflect her personality.  “I modified the appearance of my car very careful and tastefully to avoid being over done. My car absolutely reflects my personality, it’s Me in machine form and I’m madly in love with it!
