On the 19th of April Team Mustang Girls organized a Mustang Girl Meet up with the Mustang Club of America. Over 40 girls planned to be there with their cars …then it rained. And not just a little passing shower. It rained from Friday night well into early Sunday morning.  Team Mustang Girls would like to thank the girls that showed up with a smile on in-spite of the weather. These girls really are Built Ford Tough! (or at least not afraid of pneumonia)

 

Jessica Adamson is one of the troopers that came out in the rain with her Race Red 2013 Mustang Club of America Edition V6. Jessica named her car Marilyn after Marilyn Monroe because they’re both beautiful American icons.

Jessica actually grew up in a GM family going back to both of her grandfathers working for the company. Her first car was a 2002 Camaro. She loved the car but there was something about Mustangs that caught her eye. In 2006 she broke the family tradition with her first Torch Red Mustang. Since then it’s been Mustangs all the way with an ’07, ’10 and now her lucky ’13! And and she’s not going back. In Charlotte she finally joined the MCA and realized she’s one of us now. Jessica knows there won’t be be any Camaros in her future but does hope to have a ’65 Mustang!
