It’s Mustang Girl Monday brought to you by Team Mustang Girls. This week we would like to introduce Jenny Mac and share her passion for Mustangs.
“The very first time I laid my eyes on a mustang, it was love at first sight. I knew one day I would have one.” After saving up her money, Jenny’s dream finally came true. “One of the happiest days was when I brought my first Mustang home.” It was an 01 silver convertible. Since then Jenny is on her 9th Mustang. They have all been new edges, a few V6’s and a few GT’s.
Jenny’s greatest Mustang memory was the first time she made a pass down the quarter-mile in her ’03 GT. She was immediately hooked! Before that Jenny had never changed a tire, but since racing, she has become interested in learning about all of performance parts and what makes cars work and go faster! She now does 90 percent of all of her own work and she has an ’02 gt that is her dedicated race car. The best pass has been 11.43 at 119 mph on a stock engine with some nitrous, bolt-ons and cams. It is currently awaiting a 408 stroker swap, which will be a new adventure for J & L Racing.
When Jenny isn’t going fast she also runs the page Mustang Humor on Facebook and is the President of the Cape Breton Mustang Club. They just had their 2nd Annual show with the local Ford dealership and raised over $1,000 for the Childrens Wish Foundation! Each week Team Mustang Girls features a different woman and her Mustang.
