It’s Mustang Girl Monday brought to you by Team Mustang Girls. This week we are happy to introduce you to Amanda Nicole Galvan and her 2007 GT.
Amanda grew up a tomboy. She always preferred playing with her hot wheels more than dolls. Her father was a huge car enthusiast and she enjoyed the days outside helping and watching her father work on cars. She was out there any chance she got and spent a lot of time with him as a child. She was eager to learn and he was a great teacher. Even as a young girl Amanda always had an eye for Mustangs. Around the age of 10, her father, restored his nephew’s 1966 Mustang GT Fastback. Of course, Amanda was there to help every step of the way. Every chance she had she was outside seeing the progress of the Mustang. It was then that Amanda decided she would do anything she could to own a Mustang as her first car.
As Amanda got older she started meeting people with the same interest, Mustangs, and she started working to make her dream a reality. At the age of 17 she was lucky enough to have with her very own 2007 Mustang GT 5 speed. Right away Amanda started finding mods and looking for ideas to make her car unique. Since then she’s added a full exhaust system, headers, lowering springs, wheels and tires, along with a few outside graphics. “I’m nowhere near finished building my Mustang, but as time goes along I will slowly get it to where I want it to be. My future garage will definitely include more Mustangs. Hopefully I will be lucky enough to own one of my favorites, a 1967 Eleanor.”
